“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” – Anais Nin

Welcome. My hope is to convey a sense of who I am and how I practice in order to help you determine whether you feel I am a good fit for who you are and what you need.

I believe we are all trying our best and that we are the experts on ourselves. However sometimes life brings us more than we know how to handle, and we may see symptoms of sadness, anxiety, PTSD, and unhealthy or disruptive behavior in ourselves, our children, and our relationships. This can leave us feeling frustrated, hopeless, and isolated. Thankfully, therapy can help us move beyond our pain, fear, and destructive behavior, and toward a greater sense of peace, happiness, and connection.

Therapy works if and only if we feel connected and comfortable with our therapist. The first step would be for you to set up a session where you can share your hopes and concerns for yourself, your relationship, and/or your children. This will give you a chance to experience how you feel with me, and to hear my thoughts and recommendations for how I can be of support. By the end of our initial session, you will have an idea of a roadmap for therapy that will allow you to determine whether you feel I’m the right fit for you.

I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, EMDR/trauma therapy, and I am a Registered Play Therapist & Supervisor, allowing me to work with children, adults, couples, and both intact and divorced/divorcing families. I work to strengthen existing bonds within couples and families to reinforce resilience and health.

I invite you to learn more about me or my specialties.
